Feltman Brothers Commemorates 100th Anniversary

A century of Feltman Brothers! What an amazing honor and a truly wonderful journey it has been.

We thank you for recognizing 100 years of uncompromising excellence, and allowing us to be a part of countless trips home from the hospital, family celebrations and tender milestones. Each Feltman Brothers garment is designed and constructed with the same love, care and attention to detail as our first in 1916 because they’re made with these special moments in mind.

At 100, our brand is one of the oldest in the children’s clothing industry. And from the start, it was a huge success. Our handmade garments, constructed in the Philippines, kept our small factory bustling to keep up with demand. What began as just a few dress styles soon became a full line for boys and girls that included Christening gowns and accessories along with looks that moms still clamor for today like our Feltman Slip dress, the Midgie dress, creepers and our Bobbie suit.

In addition to these enduring silhouettes, the hallmark of Feltman Brothers is our fine European lace and our delicate hand stitching, tucking, fagotting, French seams and smocking. These embellishments give our garments an heirloom quality that has garnered us legions of fans around the world.

This tradition of excellence and focus on traditional construction and classic silhouettes has sustained us for 100 years! We feel it’s a milestone worth celebrating—but it wouldn’t be the same without you so we have many special things planned for 2016.

The focal point for the celebration is our 100 Year Collection. It is comprised of a take-me-home gown, a day gown, dress, bubble, bonnet, receiving blanket and pillowcase for girls with our signature hand embroidery and lace details. For boys, the collection features a white Bobbie suit with sublime workmanship on the shirt, including fagotting, hand stitched pintucks, inlaid French lace and embroidered vines. This vintage-inspired line was specifically designed for this occasion, and it is offered in limited-edition colors and finishings.

In addition to this exquisite collection, we have a very exciting launch happening in June: Our first dolls! The Caroline Grace doll is a true collector’s item, made even more special because her wardrobe is designed to match our Rose Garden. And the Emma doll in our Scalloped Bishop dresses. Just imagine the photo opportunities with your little girl and her Caroline Grace mini-me!

We’re also commemorating this momentous year with special hangtags on all of our garments, keepsake magnet picture frames to capture those special moments in Feltman Brothers, and decadent chocolate goodies, which you’ll find in stores.
