Feltman Brothers Gives Back to Support Families Grieving their Angel Babies

What began as a quick dm on Instagram from a Feltman Brothers fan quickly exploded into something so large and beautiful.
Back in November 2023, Heather Gorman RN a NICU nurse at the Children's Hospital of New Orleans, reached out to us on Instagram.
This was her message:
We rounded up some of our favorite pieces and packed up a box of beautiful styles to send to their NICU.
Just three weeks later, the amazing team at the Childrens Hospital of New Orleans posted a reel of their nurses showing off the outfits and it went viral, with so many showing us so much love.
As the word spread, we started to receive more and more requests from nurses around the country. We continued to carefully pack up packages with beautiful Feltman classics to send to each hospital.
“Being a NICU nurse isn’t always sunshine and roses,” said Heather Gorman, NICU Nurse at Children's Hospital of New Orleans. “Sometimes we unexpectedly lose patients. A lot of times we don’t have classic and beautiful things to dress these precious angel babies in. After a loss a couple of weeks ago, I reached out to my personal favorite brand to dress my own babies in. A brand that is classic and forever box worthy and lasts for generations. They sent the most generous donation for our angel babies. The NICU nurses at Children’s Hospital New Orleans want to extend a huge and heartfelt thank you to Feltman Brothers for the amazing donation. We all wish we didn’t need a bereavement bin in our supply room, but we are so thankful for these precious items to put in it for those unexpected 2 am codes that just don’t go the way we pray they will.”
Known for their time-honored craftsmanship and cherished baby clothing, Feltman Brothers Clothing has been a beacon of quality and elegance for over a century. This partnership marks a significant step in their commitment to celebrate the beauty of life's most precious moments.
"Our timeless, quality clothing is beloved by generations, and we are proud to give back to a community that shares our values-family, faith and tradition,” stated Mr. Ben Friedman, CEO of Feltman Brothers. “It’s our honor to be able to support families in memorializing their angel babies.”
In the last few months, we've sent packages of beautiful preemie and newborn size heirloom quality outfits to hospitals in Gainesville, GA, Philadelphia, PA, Nashville, TN, Forrest City, AR, Madison, AL Winston-Salem, NC, Huntsville, AL and and Metairie, LA.
Heartwarming partnerships have bloomed between us and the hospitals as they join hands to bring comfort and peace to families experiencing baby loss. Honoring each dearly loved angel baby is so important to families. NICU nurses are typically tasked with dressing these precious souls for burial and many don’t have the resources to do so in a beautiful way.
This heartwarming collaboration is only the beginning of Feltman Brothers Clothing's charitable pursuits. As the company continues to explore opportunities to make a positive impact across the country, their commitment to weaving love and tradition into the fabric of communities remains steadfast.
